Following a comprehensive review of the market, Emovis chose to work alongside Pulsant’s technical specialists in 2014 to design and build a comprehensive IT infrastructure, to support business goals. This included a dual data centre hosting solution, the highest standard of internet connectivity, as well as a workplace recovery solution ready to be implemented should Emovis’ site become inaccessible.
To be awarded the contract Pulsant passed stringent security audits and provided Emovis with the guaranteed levels of system availability, enhanced security and resilience that it required.
Pulsant solution
Emovis’ solution involves deploying a dual data centre hosting solution utilising Pulsant’s Yorkshire data centre as the primary disaster recovery (DR) site. In addition to geographically diverse data centres, Pulsant is also providing wide area network (WAN) connections to link five sites and 250 seats in its Yorkshire workplace recovery facility.
