Pulsant has recruited eleven graduates to work at its Operational Service Excellence Centre in Gateshead, as part of a programme to develop new talent to grow its technical and operational teams.

Selected from more than 700 applicants from across the North East, the new team commence a 12-month training programme across Pulsant’s service & technical operational teams.

Rob Coupland, Chief Executive Officer of Pulsant, who welcomed the graduates today, comments: “With sites in central Newcastle, North Shields, and Gateshead, Pulsant has a long-standing presence in the North East. I began my career as a technical graduate and am proud to provide young, home-grown talent across the region an opportunity to kickstart their own career in the technology sector.”

The year-long graduate programme will include visits to Pulsant’s three data centres in the North East, technical training, mentoring from the leadership team, and wider technical and professional skills development.

April Clark, Chief People Officer at Pulsant, adds: “The hundreds of applications we received demonstrates the appetite for technology-based roles and we’re proud to be playing our part in helping to develop our talent pool in the North East. With such a pressing need for technology talent across the UK, I look forward to supporting our graduates to help them reach their full potential.”

Following completion of the programme, graduates will have the opportunity to fulfil a permanent position within the operational departments, joining previous graduates in Pulsant’s commercial team on their career journey.
