Regional Sales Director
As Regional Sales Director at Pulsant, Chris Shields is responsible for driving and growing the company’s sales. With extensive experience in the IT industry, Chris has been with the business for 16 years and is a member of the senior management team. Overseeing half of the Pulsant customer base, he manages the sales team in northern England and Scotland, working together to help new and existing customers make the best use of their services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Chris plays a valuable role in empowering customers to operate faster, quicker and more efficiently and enabling them to reach more of their own customers and extend their service offering. He has been with the company almost from the beginning and, having witnessed its expansion over 16 years, he has gained a deep understanding of its operations as his responsibilities have grown. Chris joined Lumison in 2003 before the business was rebranded to Pulsant in 2011. Prior to working for Pulsant he worked in IT recruitment and headhunting for seven years. He also worked for several pharmaceutical companies after graduating from Edinburgh University with an honours degree in pharmacology and physiology. Away from the office, Chris’ hobbies include cycling, coaching under-13s youth rugby, running and sailing.
