After two days, thousands of visitors, 300 riveting presentations and just as many suppliers on the show floor, Cloud Expo Europe is over for another year. Major themes that were discussed over the course of the show included infrastructure, cloud management, security, cloud innovations and, of course, the Internet of Things.
For exhibitors, participating in a trade show can be stressful, from the organisation and stand building, to ensuring everything goes smoothly for the duration. However, here at Pulsant, we relish the opportunity to get out there, interact with our customers, chat to prospective clients and take a look at what the rest of the industry is doing. This past week was no different. Cloud Expo Europe was also the first time our new branding was displayed and we were delighted with the result.
From our perspective, the show was a resounding success. The overall vibrant atmosphere of ExCeL and the excitement and expectation generated by such a large number of visitors, ensured that the team members on our stand were always busy. We also had a number of journalists stop by for a chat, with our CTO, Matt Lovell, engaging in several briefings with the media.
One of the themes that was often touched on during these interviews was the importance of the customer experience, its consistency and the relationship with the cloud services provider. This is one of the tenets of our corporate philosophy and will be a key focus going forward, especially when it comes to the next exhibition!
Coming up in April (14-15) is Cloud Banking Europe which promises to be another highly entertaining and worthwhile event. We’re attending as a network sponsor of the event, and Matt Lovell will once again be kept busy as a featured speaker, presenting a case study with the IT director of one of our customers – Graham Scott from 7 Investment Management.
