Todd Whaley, Director of Consultancy Services
Todd has over 30 years of experience in the field of IT services, spanning from technical solution architecture to senior management roles, with a strong focus on developing economic and innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
Todd manages the specialist technology Consultancy Services area of the business, leading a team of experienced professionals focused on IT economics, optimising, transforming and simplifying corporate IT Infrastructures, and IT risk and compliance.
He has worked across multiple industries over his three-decade long career, and has developed industry knowledge and skills in banking, insurance, telecoms, media, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. Todd is driven by delivering successful IT services that achieve client objectives, but also provide ongoing business benefits of cost reduction, system optimisation and quality service management.
In addition to founding and running his own companies, Todd has fulfilled various strategic roles with organisations like Merrill Lynch, Digital/Compaq and Hutchinson Telecom. He is qualified Cyber Essentials assessor.
Andrew Bordessa, Head of Client Delivery Practice
Andrew has an impressive track record in delivering change programmes specifically in the areas of software development, IT integration and implementation, business transformation and service delivery in the financial services industry. As the practice manager for client delivery services at Pulsant, Andrew is responsible for all project management office (PMO) functions across the business. He leads an expert team of programme and project managers in the delivery of on-site project management from point in time activities, to a fully managed PMO capability on an annual contracted basis.
Prior to joining Pulsant, Andrew enjoyed a 23-year career with Thomson Reuters, working in project planning and technical account management for a few years, before moving into project management where he ultimately took up the role of Head of Deployment for central, eastern and northern Europe.
With an expert approach to customer service, Andrew focuses on managing and developing strong successful working relationships with internal key stakeholders and external customers and suppliers. He is a Prince 2 Practitioner and a Cyber Essentials assessor.
Hazel Freeman, Head of Compliance and Security Services Practice
In a career spanning almost twenty years, Hazel demonstrates great strength in IT risk and compliance, with a key focus on implementing control frameworks, performing and managing audits and helping businesses establish a security strategy. As the practice manager for compliance and security, Hazel heads up a team of assessors, penetration testers and security professionals that work in close collaboration with clients to review assess and deliver remediation services. This also includes delivering services such as Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, IASME Gold, IT risk frameworks and GDPR readiness assessments. Hazel works across a variety of industries, including financial services, legal, manufacturing and the public sector.
Hazel is a CISM qualified associate member of BCS. She is also a Prince 2 Practitioner, a Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessor, and is also a member of ISACA, an international professional association focused on IT governance. Throughout her career she has worked for the likes of Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA Group) for eight years, as well as Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
Tony Hogg, Head of Transformative Services Practice
Tony is a specialist in business-critical change and has worked in delivering major enterprise transformations, including cloud and hybrid cloud. He has a 15-year track record of innovation and creation, supporting corporate growth, business processes, increasing profitability and investment returns. As practice head for Transformation Services, Tony is responsible for consulting with clients to develop their IT strategies and target operating model, transforming their IT and network architecture. This includes large-scale technology change, such as cloud migration. He leads a team of specialist network and enterprise architects, and has particular strength in analysing and interpreting business needs, recognising trends, and translating them into technology requirements.
Tony holds a BTech degree in electronic engineering from the City University of London, and has previously worked for the likes of Fujitsu, OISG Group and Mazars LLP.
Carla MacPherson, Head of Commercial Management Services Practice
Carla is a focused, results-driven professional with over eighteen years of software licensing, contract management and commercial experience in information technology for global organisations. As practice manager for Commercial Management Services, Carla is responsible for a range of high value software licensing and vendor management consultancy services. She leads a team of consultants focused on assessing IT procurement, software asset management, contract/supplier management processes, procedures and controls.
With an LLB Law from Birkbeck University of London that specialised in company law, intellectual property, law and commercial relationships, and multinational enterprises, Carla previously worked for Universal Music Group for nine years fulfilling a number of roles, including Senior Director, Commercial and Contract Manager.
