Your choice of business email system has far reaching implications for the security, reliability and control of your information. Pulsant’s Exchange service will deliver tangible benefits to your business, by ensuring a reliable, safe, secure and connected service, backed by the industry leading email application, Microsoft Exchange.

We take Microsoft Exchange server, industrialise the configuration and deploy dedicated instances per customer on our proven and robust Cloud infrastructure. Your email application is not shared, which delivers many benefits, including assurity on security, and no limitations in terms of functionality within the capabilities of Microsoft Exchange.

The service doesn’t need to be isolated from your existing environment either, we fully integrate into your existing domain configuration if you need, and we can sit the service alongside and integrated into other services you have deployed with us, be that Cloud, hosting or other managed applications.

With this level of integration your users won’t know any difference, and your business will benefit from a secure, robust and flexible service. We combine this with our industry-leading anti-spam and encryption technologies, and an advanced anti-virus infrastructure to deliver a fully managed, secure email service which will protect your business from a wide range of security threats.

Accessing your email is easy with all the traditional methods available, including via the Outlook web app, directly through the Outlook client application, and on Mobile devices:

  • The Outlook Web app helps you be more productive across platforms and locations by giving you access to email, voice mail, instant messaging, and more, inside all popular browsers.
  • Mobile users can access a universal inbox with full Exchange active sync functionality, including email, voice mail, rights-protected messages, and instant message conversations on their smartphones. So no matter where you are, you’re always connected.

We offer additional services which extend the core capabilities of Microsoft Exchange, including:

  • Full email archiving, retention, and discovery capabilities that reduce cost and simplify the process of preserving business communications.
  • Blackberry integration
  • Replication of Exchange to a separate datacentre
  • Two Factor Authentication

Communication is key to the success of any business. In particular giving staff access to a number of communication methods can greatly improve productivity, allowing them to work in the most efficient manner based on the demands of their work, and where they are.

Often referred to as unified communications, Lync can provide the integration between existing desktop and telephony solutions coupled with integration to Microsoft Office and SharePoint for richer sharing of content and information. It enables users to take advantage of voice calls from their desktops, as well as conferencing and presence information with minimal organisational investment.

We take Microsoft Lync server, industrialise the configuration and deploy dedicated instances per customer on our proven and robust Cloud infrastructure. The service is not shared, which delivers many benefits, including assurity on security, and no limitations in terms of functionality within the capabilities of Microsoft Lync.

Lync provides a single solution that unites voice, IM, audio, video, and web conferencing into a simpler but richer, experience for customers.

The service doesn’t need to be isolated from your existing environment either, we fully integrate into your existing domain configuration if you need, and we can sit the service alongside and integrated into other services you have deployed with us, be that Cloud, hosting or other managed applications.

With this level of integration your users won’t know any difference, and your business will benefit from a secure, robust and flexible service

Delivering a secure, appropriately configured and managed desktop to your users can significantly increase a users productivity and reduce overall operating costs. Depending on the number of applications, the age of your current environment and the number of staff the savings can be significant. Efficiencies can also be significant, though harder to gauge, by the reduction in user downtime with applications delivered quickly, and desktops refreshed when needed.

Managed desktop is available in a number of configurations. The two primary services are:

  • Virtual Desktop – Dedicated Microsoft Windows OS in a virtualised environment
  • Published Desktop – Shared core Operating system which delivers a contained and secure desktop to each users. The core operating system is shared amongst all users.
  • Both offerings then use the desktop/laptop/tablet PC as a remote screen, keyboard and mouse.

In the majority of situations the published desktop configuration will deliver the most cost effective solution, with all the necessary security controls and application performance requirements met. There will be some situations where a completely dedicated operating system instance is needed, in particular where resource hungry applications demand, or where compatibility issues dictate.

The service wouldn’t operate in isolation from your existing infrastructure, applications, or processes. It is therefore critical that access, latency and security are fully understood and managed. Spending time consulting with you, and creating the right solution and outcome is critical to ensure your business needs are met.

When you want to give your staff the flexability to work where they need, to ensure they can be as productive as possible to deliver the greatest value to your business you need to ensure they have the tools available wherever they are. Managed Email and Lync are obvious solutions to ensure your staff can be contacted and can access important information regardless of location. As critical is the ability to share documents and provide a greater level of collaboration and information to your staff.

Pulsant’s SharePoint service provides a powerful base for building shared document repositories, enabling document and task collaboration, and delivering dynamic content to your staff. Content that is managed by your staff in a controlled manner.

Our SharePoint hosting solution uses this functionality for our customers to make it easy for groups of people to work collaboratively using cost-effective connectivity to their existing corporate devices.

Pulsant delivers the SharePoint platform integrated into your environment and any other services delivered by Pulsant. How you make use of the capabilities of the service is entirely up to you and your business requirements, we will help you get the best of the service by guiding you on some example scenarios, including how we make extensive use of the service ourselves.
