Our managed desktop service is an easier and more cost-effective alternative to upgrading your ageing hardware and potentially disrupting your business by doing a ‘big bang’ roll-out. Managed desktop runs Microsoft Windows in a virtualised environment and then uses the desktop/laptop/tablet PC as a remote screen, keyboard and mouse. It’s similar to remote desktop services but utilises Citrix’s industry-leading XenApp technology; there are tighter controls on shared resources and each user can have a different set of applications installed as needed, for example, Sage could be installed for the finance department, but not for sales.
You can either run the managed desktop hardware yourself in your office or use our renowned managed service where we look after all the hardware, virtualisation and licensing for you.
